Lindsay Ternovatsky : Principal
Hello and welcome to Nova Creative! My name is Lindsay and I’m a communications professional specializing in graphic and website design. I recently rebranded Perrywinkle Design and created Nova Creative as the word “Nova” derives from my married name Ternovatsky which means “new”. I felt it was time for a new visual identity to go with the new and unusually long name.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients such as The City of Edmonton, The City of Vancouver, West Edmonton Mall, Progressive Home Warranty, White Orchid Bridal Boutique, McGill University and many more. Currently, I’m employed with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo as a MarComm Specialist where I’m working on a specific project that involves redeveloping Fort McMurray’s downtown core called City Centre McMurray.
My educational background is in communications as I have a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications from the University of Alberta as well as a certificate in Web Application Development from NAIT. At the moment I’m working on my Master of Arts in Communications and Technology at the U of A.
I have a passion for simple, functional design. I like to work with clients to communicate specific messages into aesthetically pleasing visual products, while creating a strong online presence. In my spare time I like to be with my pets, Eek & Axl, enjoying the sunshine, or learning about the metaphysical and healing properties of crystals.
